Dpt1 (defect in psaA/B transcript accumulation1) is a novel photosystem (PS) I mutant in Arabidopsis. dpt1 mutants fail to grow photoautotrophically, and are impaired in the accumulation of psaA/B transcripts while the transcript levels for the remaining PSI subunits, for subunits of the PSII, the cyt-b6/f-complex, and the ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase are comparable to the wild type.

Application Example

Lane 1: 3 μg stromal protein from Arabidopsis thaliana leaf.
Lane 2: 6 μg stromal protein from Arabidopsis thaliana leaf.
Lane 3: 12 μg stromal protein from Arabidopsis thaliana leaf.
Electrophoresis: 15% SDS-PAGE
Transfer: blotting to NC (nitrocellulose) membrane for 1h.
Blocking: 5% skim milk at RT or 4℃ for 1h.
Primary antibody: 1:500 dilution overnight at 4℃.
Secondary antibody: 1:10000 dilution using Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) (Cat# PHY6000)
Detection: using chemiluminescence substrate and image were captured with CCD camera.
